14 2016 Inside Roca Roca at the KBC Trade Show in Shanghai The company presented its “Smart Toilets” collection Roca took part in the Kitchen & Bath China 2016 trade show in Shanghai from 1 to 4 June. Companies from around the world come to this event every year to present the latest trend in the sector. At its stand, Roca set up a special area to showcase the new In-Wash range of Smart Toilets, which includes the Alba, Khromaclin, Meridian and Inspira models. These are innovative solutions combining toilet and bidet and are specially designed to ensure maximum personal hygiene. The In-Wash Alba, fully developed by Roca for the Asian market, is a luxury toilet that integrates all Roca’s exclusive In-Tank (built-in cistern) technologies and In- Wash intimate hygiene functions, together with such valuable features as remote control, heated seat and minimum water consumption. Roca also presented the Smart Seat Multiclean at the show, a seat which incorporates an intimate hygiene system with hot water, drying, and automatic deodorizing functions, as well as a heated toilet seat for the maximum comfort of the user. The Asian, and in particular the Chinese market, is characterized by the high demand for combined toilet and bidet facilities, so-called Smart Toilets, which incorporate functions such as automatic toilet seat opening and closing, remote control, cleaning and disinfection, energy- saving, courtesy light, heated seat, etc. There has been a considerable increase in the demand of these products in the Chinese market, which is why Roca has devoted a specific publicity campaign to promoting them.
